.IT Domain Names

Introduced in 1987, Italy’s .IT country-specific domain is really popular both locally and in the English-speaking world. The reason is that the domain is a pronoun, which can be used for forming creative and attractive domain names – write.it, youcanmake.it and so on. This is a way to have an easy-to-memorize domain name, so that it will be easier for your visitors to go back to your website or to give it with colleagues and fellows. Because there are existing Second-Level Domains that include names of different areas and localities in Italy reserved for local 3rd-level registrations, new names that include geographical regions of any sort are not permitted on any level to avoid any future confusion.
